I want to share some odd things that I discover that make my life a little healthier and happier and that might be something that could benefit others. Wii Fit has become my new friend and she tells me that my hips are stiff and so I started to sit on a balance ball while I am working at my desk. What fun I am having as I sit and rock, bounce, etc. and feel like it is giving me the extra movement I need. I would like to idealistically think that I look like the girl on the blue ball but am afraid that the other woman is more like the sad truth. Anyway, try it, you might like it.

That's a great idea, I'd like to say that our Wii Fit gets used more than it does, but I can't lie.. Does sitting on a balance ball hurt your back? Cause I think after all the bouncing of a baby and nursing, etc. that my back is pretty shot..

I never thought about doing this. I love the fit too. I use it about 15 minutes a day, thats all I have time for. Have you lost weight yet?

Actually Steph, the benefit of the balance ball is to strengthen the core (abdomen) in order to balance on the ball and a strong core takes pressure off of the back and so it should actually help your back. Just keep the same posture as my twin on the blue ball. lol

Yes, I have lost weight and then gained some and then lost some. I just need the wii fit to stop me when I start emotionally eating. :-)
