I’ve learned something from watching sunsets and sunrises. They are a whole lot more majestic when there are dark clouds present. So it is in our lives. Christ’s example and influence is much more majestic through the dark clouds we experience. Just like the sunset and sunrise isn’t as spectacular without the clouds, His presence and influence doesn’t seem as important when there isn’t trouble in our lives. Thank goodness we do have the difficulties to help remind us how important and needful He is. Now we just need to get better at always basking in His goodness and direction when skies are clear.
